Meet
Astrid & Margot
*** This bird is currently on our Waitlist and is with their current owner. It may be possible to visit and adopt this bird prior to it being moved to a foster home. Please keep in mind that birds on the Waitlist may not have had a veterinary visit. Their owners may or may not be caring for the bird at EBR minimum standards of care.***
Margot and Astrid have been together for five and a half years. They get along great (except when they both want the same food bowl). Margot has a big personality and loves to be out of the cage and sit near you or on a perch. She is content to just be out of the cage with an occasional head scratch but can be particular about when she wants to be touched. Astrid is very sweet and friendlier. She loves to step up and sit on a shoulder. She easily learned how to fly to a hand on command if called or with miller. She is easily trainable. She doesn’t like head scratches though, only from her sister. They both love to bath in a dish or in the shower on a perch. Their favorite treats are egg and millet.
