Meet

Bumblebee

Bumblebee’s current foster home says: “Bumblebee is very affectionate for a Senegal parrot and loves being with his favorite people more than anything in the world. He will request head scratches by bowing his head and moving towards your hand. He will follow you around the house, including to the shower (where he will sit on your shoulder and attempt to preen you, and occasionally dunk himself too). He likes to forage on the floor and will rummage through his food dish for his favorite chop ingredients, usually carrots. Like many Senegal parrots, he is stubborn and will cling to your shirt if he doesn’t want to leave your shoulder yet, or give you a nip if you are trying to remove him from somewhere he wants to be. Bumblebee will make a wonderful companion for a family that can give him plenty of out-of-cage time and patiently work through his challenges. His cuddles are worth it!”
